Strata celebrates the distinct properties of 2 natural materials marble and brass. The sculptural identity of the dining table is emphasized by the free form top and the fluid base. The 2 elements barely touch, on 2 points, just the structurally needed contact to assure the equilibrium of the piece. The dark matte texture of the brass allows it to disappear, to fade into the context. The organic shape of the wrap enhances its immateriality, highlighting the floating fine layer of white marble.
